The ROCKEFELLER FOUNDATION HomeOur Work 100 Resilient Cities Network 100 Resilient Cities Network 100 Resilient Cities Network Overview The Rockefeller Foundation is a leader in developing the field of resilience to help cities prepare for and thrive amid physical, social and economic uncertainties. Since 2013, 100 Resilient Cities has launched more than 80 Resilience Strategies, more than 4,000 actions and initiatives, and leveraged $25 billion in external funding to implement those efforts. The Rockefeller Foundation will continue collaborating with the 100RC global Network of cities, CROs, and a small group of former 100RC senior staff to plan for a future of continued collaboration and information sharing amongst cities looking to advance resilience solutions that improve the lives of poor and vulnerable people in their communities.

Romania reelects President Klaus Iohannis

Deutsche Welle Romania reelects President Klaus Iohannis Incumbent Klaus Iohannis has scored a resounding victory in the second round of Romania's presidential election. Iohannis pledged to fight corruption after the fall of the center-left government.         Romanian President Klaus Iohannis won a presidential runoff vote on Sunday, earning almost twice as many votes as his challenger Viorica Dancila from the PSD Social Democrat (PSD), exit polls showed. "The winner today is modern Romania, European Romania, the normal Romania," said the 60-year-old Iohannis, who was born in the former socialist country as a member of German national minority.  "I receive this victory with joy, thankfulness, modesty and with faith in Romania," he said.
