The ROCKEFELLER FOUNDATION: OUR HEALTH LEGACY- Universal Health Coverage

Rockefeller Foundation Announces National Coronavirus Testing Plan ...

UHC Event 9-22-14 - The Rockefeller Foundation

Toolkit - Universal Health Coverage Day

While health spending has increased dramatically around the world, access to quality health services—without the risk of financial hardship—has lagged.
And although health systems increasingly serve as buffers between vulnerable communities and crises, many countries still lack the capacity to meet daily health needs, let alone anticipate, address, and recover from health shocks down the line.

Our Work and Impact

Closing the global health divide requires new tools and strategies to address health inequities. At The Rockefeller Foundation, we are working with a large coalition of partners across sectors to achieve Health for All with a specific emphasis on leveraging data-driven insights to improve decision making and health outcomes on the frontlines of community health.

OUR APPROACH

We envision a world where community health systems everywhere are equipped to apply data-driven decisions to deliver the right health interventions to the right people at the right time.

Precision Public Health

Improving health outcomes through equitable, data-driven health systems in communities around the world.

OVERVIEW

Data and data science are increasingly reshaping nearly all aspects of our lives, including health. However, not everyone is benefiting. While advances like big data and artificial intelligence are beginning to revolutionize health care in high-income countries, they often fail to reach lower-income countries with the greatest need. It’s time to change that. Our $100 million Precision Public Health Initiative will make community health more proactive and responsive to patient and population needs, with the goal of saving the lives of at least 6 million women and children by 2030.

MILESTONE TRACKING

Our Goals

We aim to make community health more proactive and responsive to patient and population needs, with the goal of improving the health and wellbeing of people around the world.

Equip Community Health Workers
with the digital tools that enable them to target interventions, improving effectiveness and efficiency

Increase Access to Care
for populations who are at greatest risk for health challenges

Improve Health Outcomes
as a crucial component of achieving SDG3

EGMONT Institute: Extremist Offender Management in Belgium

Extremist Offender Management in Belgium By Thomas Renard (27 July 2020)  In Other publications EU strategy and foreign policy, Middle-East / North Africa, Terrorism The presence of terrorist convicts in prison is not a new phenomenon in Belgium. However, radicalisation or recruitment was less visible, or at least less observed until it became a policy priority to monitor violent extremists in prison in 2015. This chapter, which is part of a broader report, analyses the specific policies and tools that have been developed in Belgium to address the challenge of radicalisation in prison, and the rehabilitation of terrorist offenders after their release. This chapter (view the PDF below) was published as part of the report “Extremist Offender Management in Europe: Country Reports” published by ICSR, and available here .
