Una institución de más de 130 años

En 1883, se crea la Alianza Francesa de París con el objetivo de difundir la cultura francesa en el extranjero a través de la enseñanza de la lengua francesa. Este movimiento fue pensado por:

Es así como entre 1884 y 1886, se abren las primeras Alianzas Francesas en el extranjero: las de Alejandría, Constantinopla, Londres, México, Praga, Río de Janeiro, Shanghái, etc.

Hoy en día, nuestra red cuenta con más de 800 Alianzas Francesas en 132 países que enseñan el francés a más de 450 000 estudiantes, siendo la red cultural más importante del mundo.

Desde 2008, todas las Alianzas dependen de la Fondation Alliance Franҫaise establecida en París.

Nuestras misiones:

Difundir el idioma francés en el mundo.

Difundir y organizar eventos culturales relacionados con las culturas francesa, francófonas y del país donde está establecida la Alianza.

Contribuir a informar sobre la Francia contemporánea.

Favorecer los encuentros entre franceses y francófilos del mundo entero.

Nuestra presencia en México

En México, contamos con 32 Alianzas Francesas que participan sólidamente en la vida cultural de cada región, teniendo una afluencia de más de 25 000 estudiantes por año. Desde 1966, la Federación de las Alianzas Francesas en México se encarga, entre otras misiones, de coordinar las acciones culturales y de capacitación de los docentes y empleados de todas las Alianzas del país para garantizar la calidad de los servicios ofrecidos por nuestra red.

Desde hace 25 años, Francia es el 1er destino turístico en el mundo.

Cada región francesa tiene sus especificadas. Estudiando en Francia, tendrás la oportunidad de descubrir un país muy diverso con un patrimonio rico y multicultural.
